PFA Handbrake Mechanism Adjuster Rebuild Kit
Restore the function of your classic Aston Martin‘s handbrake system with our reproduction handbrake adjuster kit. Many original units are now showing signs of age with damaged, corroded, or sloppy threads, making proper adjustment impossible. Our kit provides a complete solution.
This system was originally fitted to DB5-type brake calipers and continued on through to the DBSV8 era cars. Our kit supplies all the necessary components to service one caliper: a threaded adjuster rod, a return spring, a ratcheted adjuster nut, and a ratcheted sprung steel pawl.
This is a vital replacement for a crucial part of your Aston Martin‘s braking system. The original Aston Martin part number for the return spring is 69-28-709. Please note, these components were originally supplied as a complete assembly and do not have individual part numbers.
