We designed this tube for versatility. You can use it with or without the original breather shield, depending on how far you fit it out of the cylinder block. This DB4 dipstick tube is a precise fit for a DB4 / GT type block only. Please note that it will not fit other engine configurations. We pay close attention to detail to ensure a perfect fit for your specific classic Aston Martin.
A Direct Replacement for OE Part Number 20-01-142
This stainless steel dipstick tube directly replaces the open-topped original. The equivalent OE Aston Martin part number is 20-01-142. You can find the original part location in your DB4 parts book: Plate A, Page 2, Item number 12.
