Aston Martin DB4 Adjustable Top Arm Pin for Camber Correction
This is a custom-designed Parts for Astons solution to a long-standing factory problem. We’ve developed, tested, and manufactured a top arm pin that helps to address inconsistencies with camber angle on the DB4 type chassis. This was an issue the factory recognized, leading to the shim-adjustable concept on the later DB5. Our design offers a modern, precise alternative.
Developed for FIA Racing, Refined for You
Originally a concept we designed for our FIA racing cars, this adjustable top arm pin performed exactly as intended. We’ve since refined it and are proud to make it available to the market. While mainly aimed at the trade with geometry checking equipment, we made the setup user-friendly by adding a 7/16” AF hex on each end of the spindle. Furthermore, an arrow on the end face shows the exact location of the offset.
Sold as a pair, these pins provide approximately 1 degree of adjustable range, allowing you to balance both sides for an equal camber number and improved handling.
